Today was our day in Cork! We traveled to Cork which was not that far from Killarney so the bus wasn't that bad of a ride. Once we got to the city of Cork, we had a lot of free time to explore the city and see what Cork was all about. A couple of girls and I went to this bar and were able to meet some nice Irish guys that taught about the town of Cork. Today were some very important horse races that everyone was there for so the bar was packed. It was nice to be in a bar that we were the only Americans that were in the bar. Next, we went to Blarney. We got to go to the Blarney Castle and guess what Grandma, I kissed the Blarney Stone :) That was pretty much it for the day. I just got finished with dinner and I am about to go back to my room and shower because we have an early start tomorrow. We are going to Dublin!

Today was a very sunny day! Something that doesn't normally happen around here. We toured the Ring of Kerry and got to get off and see some beautiful sights along the way. First, we stopped at a bog village. Bogs are places were people have been buried but from the chemicals in the soil it has persevered them so that they decay but not as rapided as a regular buried person. It was interesting to see that. Also it was Irish coffee time which made it even better. Irish coffee here consists of sugar, coffee, whiskey, and cream. Nothing like having whiskey at 9 am :) Next, we went to see a beach. All of Killarney is really beautiful with the mountains and all the green land. Then, we had lunch. Beer with lunch. Legit drinking all day. Best thing ever! After lunch, we did a couple of more site stops to see a waterfall and a bunch of beautiful views. Next, we went back to the hotel and had a welcome dinner together. Dinner was good. Conversation got a bit out of hand with an argument about religion but all in all it was really nice. Finally, a night out on the town! We went to two bars and had a blast!

Currently on a bus on the way to Cork. Extremely hung over and this bus ride is a bit brutal.

Getting off the plane ride and we were all so exhausted. We needed to waste some time for the next plane to come in so that the passengers could meet up with us. So wasting time consisted of eating a traditional Irish breakfast. Sausage, egg, toast and something called blood pudding. I don't honestly know whats in it but it was really gross. It honestly looked like charcoal I would light a fire with. It was just not my thing. Next, we went to the Cliffs of Manor. Honestly, the most beautiful thing that I have seen so far on this trip. Just breathtaking! Next we went on a ferry ride and a horse ride to see some of the national park in Killarney. By this time I am legit falling asleep on the ferry because I am so tired. Finally, we had a nice traditional Irish dinner that I completed with an Irish Coffee. Irish Coffee is coffee, whiskey, and cream. Nothing like the Baileys Irish Coffee we get at home. Totally different and completely bitter compared to the sweetness Bailey's brings to the coffee. Very different but still good. So it is defiantely bed time for me.

Good night!

Like my mother used to tell me, "Kelly you love pressure." I guess in some way I kinda do because I think quicker and I know that if I mess up I will be paying for it. This is all pertaining to the fact that the day that I was leaving I was still packing for my trip. Haha nothing like finishing packing 20 minutes before I leave :) Anyway, currently I am on the plane going to Shannon, Ireland. I am so excited and blessed to be going on this trip. I know some people don't like to travel but when I get the chance to, I feel a sense of rush. New culture, food, people, and scenery which is a complete thrill to me. I would never trade this for the world. Thank you Daddy! You are truly the best for letting me go on these trips.
